I live in Glasgow and no longer have to deal with the general public for a living. However, I am all too aware that they’re still out there, lurching around with their opinions. I now spend my days studying Archaeology, failing to stay away from the letters page in the Metro, marvelling at the number of people who use the phrase ‘political correctness gone mad’ without a hint of irony and growing increasingly annoyed.
Aside from complaining about things, gesticulating wildly and swearing I enjoy vast quantities of music, reading (comics and books without pictures alike), films, strolling around the city, comedy, history and daydreaming. I’ll be writing about these things from time to time.
You do well by writing what you write. I hope you enjoy and do well with your studies. I never thought that twitter would be as useful as it obviously is (eg #sp11 etc). It’s also reassuring to find that there are other people of a potentially similar mind (at least in bits).
